2. Tinting: Lash tinting involves applying a semi-permanent dye to the lashes to add color and enhance their visibility. The tint is typically applied after the lash lifting process. It can darken the natural lashes, making them appear more defined and voluminous. The tint color is chosen based on the client’s preferences and desired outcome.

The results of a lash lift and tint treatment usually last for 4 to 6 weeks (but the the tint only lasts for about four), which is the average lifespan of a natural eyelash. However, individual lash growth cycles may vary, it will also depend on how well you look after them. With proper care, you may be able to extend the life of your lash lift up to 6 weeks.

• Healthier Option: Lash lifts are generally considered a healthier option as they work with the natural lashes, without the use of additional materials or adhesives. They do not put additional weight or stress on the lashes and allow them to grow naturally.

Lash Extensions:

• Technique: Lash extensions involve applying individual synthetic or natural hair fibers directly onto the natural lashes using a semi-permanent adhesive. The extensions create a fuller and longer lash look.
• Results: Lash extensions provide immediate length, volume, and thickness to the lashes. They can achieve a more dramatic and glamorous appearance compared to lash lifts.
• Maintenance: Lash extensions require more upkeep, including regular fills to maintain the desired look. They should be kept dry for the first 24-48 hours after application, and oil-based products should be avoided to prevent premature loosening of the extensions.
• Lash extensions, when applied and maintained properly, do not necessarily damage the natural lashes. However, there is very common potential risk of damage… the extensions are too heavy, if the adhesive is applied incorrectly, or if they are not properly cared for. It’s important to follow proper aftercare instructions and have them applied by a very skilled technician to minimize potential damage.

LASH LIFT AFTERCARE

• Do not touch or rub your eyes, eyelashes, doing so will ruin the positioning of the hair.
• Be gentle with your lashes and refrain from all attempts to rub the eyes or lashes on a regular basis. 
• Do not get your lashes wet (Min 8 Hrs pref 24 Hrs).
• Avoid sleeping on your face or on your side and avoid wearing eye mask.
• Do not use harsh products on your eyes/lashes.
• Avoid Use of sauna/steam, anything earlier than 48hrs may weaken the effect of the lift.
• No eye makeup (24 Hrs).
• Avoid any mascaras for 48 Hrs except for only approved mascara/serums to be used immediately after treatment. You may resume but preferably only suggested mascara if you want a lasting results or “non-waterproof” to avoid excessive rubbing and use of harsh eye makeup removal products on a regular basis.
• Swimming should be avoided (48 Hrs).
• No other facial beauty treatments (48 Hrs).

It is generally recommended to wait at least 6 to 8 weeks between lash lift and tint treatments to allow the natural lashes to grow out and avoid over-processing.
